The contents of this book are the words recorded in the diary and letters home, as Lawrence Philip Pond ("Phil") wrote them all those years ago. Photos and postcards were taken or collected by Phil in Tobruk. These documents are becoming more fragile with time, originally kept by a loving mother and now preserved by Books of Life for ever more.
